Hello Everyone, I am new and have a question:
Ok i have a demo account that i want to reflex how my first real account will be.
Real= *I want to put in $100 usd at 1:100*
btw, will this mean that I will control $10,000?
So for the demo, I created an account with leverage at 100:1 and deposit at $10,000, is this correct?-I did this but the margin seems too high/low(?) and wouldnt protect me from losses greater than $100(I would owe money)
or should I do a $100 deposit at leverage 100:1?
Which will be most like the real account that want to make?

Leverage does not increase your deposit, it is the ratio of the amount used in a transaction relative to the required security deposit. A leverage of 1:100 means, that you need 1 to the broker's 100 in order to make a deal.
