InstaForex Company is glad to inform about launch of new contest for traders among DEMO accounts - "InstaForex-Sniper".

Trading contest "InstaForex-Sniper" will take place every week from 00:00 Monday to 23:59 Friday (terminal time). Trading at DEMO-account within the contest "InstaForex-Sniper", you get opportunity to receive one of real monetary prize. The prize fund of each weekly contest is 1500 USD which will be distributed among winner by the following scheme:

1 prize - 500 USD;
2 prize - 400 USD;
3 prize - 300 USD;
4 prize - 200 USD;

Each holder of a trading account with InstaForex Company can participate in the tournament "InstaForex-Sniper". Next weekly contest among DEMO-accounts starts on November 16, 2009. Separate DEMO-account is opened for participation in every weekly contest with the same initial deposit for all participants 10 000.00 USD. do i have to trade all of the instruments listed,
(EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, EURJPY, GBPJPY)
or i just have to make 5% net profit from each if i should trade any of these.

Dear qlink,
To become a winner you have to get not less than 5% profit by these 5 currency pairs. So of course, you should trade them also.

Unfortunately there are still problems with forex sniper contest site. There is no actual table of contest, furthmore there is not even table with users getting part in this week. There is a table with next week users and archive last week table only. Can you tell us when problems are going to be fixed?

About 5% talking some post over- if i had 1000 net profit so trading each pair must earn at least 50 ?

Hi

why there is no my position in table of participants ? Currently if I search my nickname it shows me on 85th position, but when displaying first 100 i can see 84th and next 86ts position in the table. Is it because i did not 5% condition and i am not ranked?


It is ok now. maybe it depends on some technical solutions

"InstaForex Sniper" by new rules
InstaForex contest and campaign administration has changed the rules of "InstaForex Sniper" competition. According to the new regulations, for getting a prize you have to use at least two currency pairs during your trades - GBPUSD and GBPJPY. You should take not less than 5% of profit by each of these currency pairs. In case the condition is not met, a participant will not able to pretend to a prize.

Changes in the regulations are concerned all period of the tournament holding since December 7, 2009.

InstaForex Sniper: results of the second week
Week since 23rd of November till November, 27 gave better results in comparison with the previous contest "InstaForex Sniper".

First prize in the tournament is jugged to Mikhail G. Filippov from Belarus, his account in the contest-table is 389407. 500 USD will be credited to his real account as a prize.

The second place is taken by the owner of account 388811 Vladimir V. Serebryakov (Russia). His winnings are 400 USD.

The 3rd position according to the competition totals was won by Sergey S. Vassel (Russia), the participant's account number is 389097. The gained funds is 300 USD.

Hi!

In trading condition no. 9, it's say that "Maximal number of deals including pending orders is 5". Does this mean that the maximum total orders for all pairs is 5 or maximum orders for each pair is 5?

It does not depend on a currency pair. This condition means that at the same moment you can open only 5 deals - no more. You will be able to open another deal only after one of your previous deals is closed.

The person with the most profit. As the initial deposit is equal for every participant, a contestant with the highest balance will be the one who were succeed to gain the most profit. So there is no difference.

Hello--

I have just been able to trade the Sniper Conest within the last 24 hours and have a question.

The the pip value of a full stardard lot in the contest (the maximum trade size) on the EURUSD is $1 USD per pip, not $10.
In real trading, $1 is the pip value on a mini-lot and $10 on a full standard lot (on XXX/USD pairs).
Can you explain this please?

But to my surprise, my name is not appearing in the list of winners announced by you.

I have finished with a profit of USD 2007.40, out of which i have earned profit of USD 271.00 under GBPUSD and USD 1532.78 under GBPJPY.

After the winner received the email which notified the new account opened by contest admin, in that email it show a aolum as below =

If the winner doesnt deposit in their prize funded account, will that account be deleted as well?? If yes, then whats the meaning of winning the prize?

Hi Personnel,
After i read the rules, there's a question about below....

2.6. The Organizer reserves the right to decline registration of any participant without explaining the reason or disqualify any participant during the Contest with an explanation. The reason of disqualifying can be opening the big volume opposite orders with the same currency pairs in different trading accounts at the same time approximately, as well as usage of failures in the quote flow for getting guaranteed profit.

Regarding above rule, IF there are few traders who using SAME EXPERT ADVISOR , then It probably place orders at same time + same price, Will that be DISQUALIFIED?? How about the Expert Advisor did show the Robot's NAME in comment column? Will that be OK?
We are developing some robots to try luck on this contest, but b4 having any unnecesarry disqualification, therefor need some clarification first.

1- I have one computer in my office and another at my house. They have 2 different IP´s. I have the Instaforex platform on the 2 computers. Can I operate with the 2 computers or must I operate only with one of them, once they are differente IP´s?

I have problem to log-in to the sniper contest account started today (19/07). I register a few times due to this problem .... but still .... none of the account cant be log-in. Am I the only one facing this problem ? FYI, there's no problem to log-in to the lucky trader contest accountthats is also started today.

Not my connection problem, i switch to liva account, everything is smooth, but when switch to contest account, it alwats " No Connection" , I think that ALL CONTESTS sharing the same server will be problem....

Hello, I just signed up for the upcoming intsa forex sniper contest, however I do not fully understand what you mean by ''For getting the prize, every winner should meet the condition: you should take not less than 5% of profit by each of the currency pairs GBPUSD and GBPJPY.''
Would you be kind enough to explain that term a little further?.. thank's

It means that if you, for example, get a profit of $10, 5 of them should be from a trade with GBPUSD pair and 5 - with GBPJPY.

No, you can use any currency pair you like, but 5 dollars of each 100 dollars you earn should be make by GBPUSD, and 5 more dollars - by GPBJPY.

Hello admin this is DTRADE and am participating in the upcoming next week Insta snipper contest, and as been mine first contest would like to clear mine doubts about its working.

According to the rules :
. we must have minimum 5% profit from both gbp/usd and gbp/yen at the end of the contest, means it comes to 10% form gbp pairs.
If Total profit is of 500 points than we should have earned at least 25 points each on gbp/usd and gbp/yen .

. We have an limit to lot size of 1.00 quantity, can we open two orders of 1.00 lot size on the same pair one after another.

. Are we allowed to open 1.00 lots on two-three different pairs at the same time.

. Also are we free to trade other pairs apart form major pairs.

. Can we hedge our trades ? Can we set Pending orders ?

Please clear mine doubts quickly and starting with contest on 9th jan 2012, would appreciate your useful advice.

Hello admin this is DTRADE and just now checked in the contest archives the no 1 position traders is trading more than 5 positions at a time on eur/usd pair is he disqualified.
Also wanted to ask the leverage is 1:500 means when am trading 1.00 lot its equal to that of 5.00 lot in 1:100 am i right.

Actually was using an EA to mine the ea as well as me too opened an order at the same fraction of time.

Hello admin this is Instamail and wana ask an query about the instaforex snipper contest.
we have to make 5% form gbp/jpy and gbp/usd , wana ask if its losses are also counted means subtracted formt he profit or only profit pips are counted.

for example- gbp/jpy first trades goes postive 90 points and second trade goes negative 30 point how much points would be calculated 60 or 90 points as profit ?

try to give me an quick reply the contest would be starting soon.

If I want to open more than 5 orders(Sniper Contest) your Met 4 tell me"Too many orders"".Ok ,the rules are rules...no comment...but this night I have seen the men from first place,65025344,who oppened 19 sets or 5 positions,I mean 95 all....How that???I can open 5 positions only...and this guy 95( all oppened in the morning and closed in the afternoon)???

All the results are checked after the contest finishes, so if that person really broke the rules, he will get disqualified.

How can you claim we help that person, if eventually he'll get disualified? There are some creepholes in the system, which such pesrons can use to avoid 5-orders rule. We cannot do anything about it, because it is about some technical feature of MetaTrader. That's why we double-check the restuls manually, when the contest finishes.

Walking back through this thread, one can see there has been a good habit to publish the awarded top 5 until mid February this year, but where does it take place nowadays? Is it the http://instaforex.com/contest_forex_sniper_archive.php page after 10 days (after all the cheaters have been sorted out)? Or are the 'news', published on http://instaforex.com/company_news and also in the sticky threads above, containing the name of (just) the #1 winner like http://instaforex.com/company_news/2662.html considered as the official announcement?

From reading this forum, i got the impression the winners are always contacted by contest administration first. Is it right?

Long story short - I have participated in the Sniper round 02-07/Apr 2012, got http://instaforex.com/contest_monitoring.php?trader=8987957, wrote immediately to tournament@instaforex.com (with excuses for writing too soon) - no reply. ok no hurry, after 2 weeks of waiting I tried live chat - I have been told to wait for an email, or send another email to the contest administration. After another week of waiting I have sent another email to the same address - tournament@instaforex.com - with a screenshot of the livechat session, personal data, demo account logins etc. Reply? Nope. Nothing. It feels like I don't exist at all.

I don't know if i missed something, or if your mail server simply dislikes my email address. I suppose the latter, and the problem is certainly not on my side (spam filter etc). BTW: I registered on this forum with the same e-mail address - did I receive the validation e-mail? NO.

Please advise what shall I do - if I'm not eligible for any reason just tell me - all I really want is to know ;-) ..but if I really won the $400 credit it would be really silly to miss the 30-day claim limit due to some misunderstanding, right? ;-)

All the violations are always checked after the contest finishes, and if one broke a rule, he gets disqualified. I believe, the guy you are talking about was disqualified as well. If not, please, give me the link to his contest account monitoring page.

After the contest results are summarized, the contest Administrations sends a notification to each winner. If you are sure you got into the winners' list before the official announcement, you can send your ID scan and real account number to the Administration before you get notified.

a lot of thanks for your reply. I'm already sure with the reason of my problem - any emails from instaforex.com never arrive to my mailbox, not even to the spam folder. My http://topmail.co.uk/ unfortunately seems to be "too smart and safe" and discards any messages from your domain without any notice.. And i guess you did not receive several emails I sent earlier for the same reason. I didn't even receive the contest registration information after signing up (I thought you don't send anything at all, yesterday a friend of mine signed up for another contest with a gmail address and received a notification immediately) - I simply made a screenshot with login/password and played :-).

Ok i can send the documents (real name is matching of course) and open a real account, but i have to use a different email address (I can forward those emails I sent that never arrived) - the question is - can I still be "the same person" for you? Or should I try to solve the email relaying failure with my mail provider? That may take forever since it's a freemail.

I will appreciate your reply, seems you're doing a fair good job here :-)

Hi, why there are contestants (winners of all) that exceed the number of orders (many more than) specified in each competition?. "9. The maximum number of open trades Including pending orders is 5. In the case of Sniper
Theoretically they should be punished, but I see winning as well.
I wonder if we can all do the same without penalty and to overcome the number of. Orders permitted is easy with a smartphone. (Error surely platform)

For example, the winner of last week Sniper (refer attached copy of their positions), opened many positions at the same time or very close and closed the next day (as shown). Continues to emerge as winner.
The same happens this week with the 1 st, 2 nd place finisher y3, (apparently use your application to smartfone this fashion because in all competitions winners see this trap
So ... even if they appear in the final list at the top are declassified?
